The purpose of this website is to provide pertinent RESOURCE information to those in the life science industry. The site is designed to give a brief description of resources with direct links.

Companies included in BioAustin operate in the areas of bio-related activities including research, diagnostics, reference lab, pharmaceutical, CRO, medical device, agbio and bioveterinary. This group does not include the hundreds of companies providing services to the bio-related industry.

BioAustin, formed under the auspices of the Austin Chamber of Commerce, represents over 100 life science companies with over 7,000 employees operating in the five-county Austin region.

Based on a state-by-state survey of economic development deals over the last 12 months, Business Facilities magazine named Texas--with a total of $15.4 billion in investment and 9,335 jobs to be created from new projects--its State of the Year for 2007.
