A division of IC² and part of the UT System, ATI has an incubation model that provides strategic counsel, operational guidance and infrastructure support to accelerate the growth of member companies and the transition of them from early stage technology ventures to successful businesses. ATI has graduated over 15-+ companies, raised over $720 million in capital and created over 10,000 jobs. The City of Austin recently provided additional financial support for Life Sciences through ATI.

The Texas Life Sciences Commercialization Center is a non-profit organization with a mission to bring post-incubation biotechnology and life-sciences companies to Georgetown, Texas and to the Greater Austin region in order to enhance educational opportunities and further community development.

The mission of the Microelectronics Research Center (MRC) at UT Austin is to perform education and research/development in materials and electronic devices. The MRC is a research laboratory funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) through the National Nano-Technology Infrastructure Network (NNIN). They provide cleanroom and lab space for the development of technology (primarily nano-technology). Companies may utilize the space for a small fee or monthly charge without any financial obligation placed on the company's technology or intellectual property.
