Georgetown Company wins Prestigious Innovator Award

Georgetown, TX – Nov 13, 2008 - The late David Mentzer, Senior Engineer for Quantum Logic Devices, was selected by Nanotech Briefs magazine to receive a Nano 50 awards which recognizes the “top 50 technologies, products, and innovators that have significantly impacted, or are expected to impact, the state of the art in nanotechnology.”

Mentzer is responsible for developing the process to make the worlds smallest transistor. Mr. Mentzer passed away April; accepting the award on his behalf will be the CEO for Quantum Logic Devices Dr. Louis Brousseau.

The Nano 50 awards will be presented during the awards dinner at the Nano Engineering Conference in Boston this evening.
